My partner and I hired the hall for our baby shower - we couldn’t have chosen a better venue! The venue itself is the perfect size, decorated to a very high standard and the facilities are absolutely incredible! The fine details like free sanitary products etc just make an already amazing venue even better! Organisation was super easy and you can check any dates before you book. Tracy and the team were so helpful and on hand for whenever needed. We will be using this venue for all our future events! ☺️

Great space for a family party. Toilets were clean. Plenty of chairs and tables available. Wifi available as well. Car parking spaces for about 25 cars

Great place for a yoga workshop. Light and roomy. Plenty of parking.

We hosted our daughter's birthday party at Highwood Village Hall and it was excellent. A warm, clean, comfortable, spacious, and modern building with plenty of parking and a well-equipped kitchen. The team were a pleasure to deal with, responsive and proactive in their communication. Thank you!

Attended a conference at Highwood Village Hall. Beautiful surroundings...parking on site. The best toilet facilities I have seen in a long time. Plants, hand lotion, tissues, female hygiene products (free) super clean and colourful. Lovely bright seating area at the back of the hall.

Held a surprise party and what a lovely place. The passive design is beautiful and the hall is spacious with plenty of light. Park round the back keeps the kids entertained and the facilities are more than perfect with plenty of parking. Welcoming hospitality from Tracy so 👍🏼 to her. The only thing we found was the aircon was broken over a hot week which was annoying but didn’t spoil the day. Couple of suggestions would be… >Add at least 2 EV chargers in the parking bays >Perhaps a fence to stop wondering toddlers away from the main road >A refuge service even if we have to pay extra as clearing your own rubbish is not ideal Overall its a great hall and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire this vent again. 🙂

A wonderful space to bend down to touch your toes, and connect with the local community. The views from high windows are worth it alone.

Lovely community space, well kept with great eco credentials and super outdoor space which is rare for a village hall. Entrance to car park is discrete and can easily be missed but once you're in it, there's plenty of space. This gets my vote for the best village hall in Essex 👍

Had an brilliant, like really brilliant visit here. It was the first Friday of the month, and that means 10-12 tea and cakes. There were easily 100 people there, indoor stalls setup and loads of friendly people to chat too. I took some photos, one ended up as a photosphere. I will be anything to support a local Community. And I met the local PCSO from Essex Police too who was there as part of a street meet. Great place huge credit to Highwood and the Village :)
